Our third edition of Human Factors and Change has a different flavour from our previous two. This edition examines skills and tools supporting our business communication efforts.

Right now, I’m feeling numb yet happy. Having published a book and an online course I feel elated yet tired. As of a few days ago I also finished my master's degree. With the intensity of the last few months out of the way, it is time to chill for a bit. I know it’s a rare month, notching up a few achievements. I am now between contracts, and it feels strange to be an unemployed bum. A published author, but still unemployed.

It is good to relax for a while and get up whenever. Being in lockdown for the last couple of months has been a challenge for everyone. At least, by having no life we can all get creative. No, it doesn’t need to involve writing business non-fiction, online training or other “serious” play. How many of you are becoming dab hands at baking sourdough? Or relaxing by finding creative ways to socialise with friends or watching Squid Game?

It was a pleasure creating this third edition of Human Factors and Change for you. Please let me know what we could do better or differently… or just some encouragement to keep doing what I’m doing!
